Cutestkid now Drippie is one of Raffia City young Rapper who
has been underground for some years now and having returned to the music
industry, he decided to change his name from Cutestkid to Drippie.
The Rapper has worked with few of his city mates and has dropped
couples of singles since he started doing music way back.
One of his debut hit single “Tell
Em” is still hot and trending.
The
song was mixed and Mastered by Undisputed and Port Harcourt City based Dope
producer Earl Shun.
He
is one of the artistes that featured on “Raffia
City Rap Connect 2017” and one of the finalists at “Raffia City Unplugged” Talent hunt 2017.
While on an interview with Xsquad Magazie Crew few days ago at the #10kFreestyleContest studio (Airclipz Studio), the rapper explained
his moves for his change of name and why it was essential as he made a comeback
to the Music Industry.
In his words: “Early
January 2021, I will be dropping an EP for my fans and about my new name
Drippie, I decided to go with the name because of my fashion style, been so
fresh with the ice on my ears as my friends call me Mr. Swag So Sick”.
The rapper went further to say that the cutestkid was more
like him acting like a kid and that it’s high time he start acting matured.
“Drippie came
about my fashion scene, and keeping up with the hip hop trends, I decided to
for Drippie”
he added.
