Utang Akwa Ibom, Godfada Uko & Emmanuel Owuala visits Heritage Radio (104.9fm)

 


In a bid to promote Entertainment in the State, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment Industry, Mr. David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) accompanied by Emmanuel Owuala; Special Assistant to the Governor on Talent Development, Mr. Godfada Uko; Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring and members of Akwa Ibom Entertainment Working committee embarked on a working visit to Eket the Oil city.

It was indeed an unforgettable moment as members of Akwa Ibom Entertainment Working committee led by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment Industry also visited Citybet Betting coming which according to Entertainers in the area has been a major supporter of Show business.

The Managing Director of Citybet, with excitement thanked the entire Akwa Ibom Entertainment Working committee for coming to thank him for his support to the entertainment industry and wished to do more.

Mr. Godfada Uko in his remark added that City bet can be a company that will sign an endorsement deal with well known entertainers in the area as brand ambassadors of city bet as the signing wont just add value to their brand as entertainers but also to project the image of citybet.

From Citybet, Working committee later visited Heritage Radio (104.9FM) where the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment Industry, Utang Akwa Ibom thanked the management for always supporting entertainment in the area and promoting local content as a community radio while speaking with the Program Manager, Victor Bassey in his studio office.



The Special Assistant to the Governor on Talent Development, Emmanuel Uweala popularly known as Emma Solution added that as part of the Radio’s effort to promote local contents; the radio should give 80% airplay to indigenous songs as that alone will make listeners to stick to Heritage Radio 104.9fm.



Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring; Mr. Godfada Uko added that he looks forward to see the Radio Station coming up with projects like “Heritage fm Praise Jamz” and lots more for participation of indigenous entertainers in the area.

While responding to Mr. Godfada Uko, the Program Manager, Victor Bassey once again thanked the Entertainment Working committee for visiting the radio station and promised to have a general meeting with his staff as to kick off the implementation of 80% Airplay for indigenous artistes.

The climax of the visit to the radio station was an exclusive interview with Utang AKwa Ibom, Godfada Uko and Emmanuel Uweala as directed by the where they all had the opportunity to once again thanked the State Governor Udom Emmanuel for appointing entertainers into his cabinet. 

 



While On Air, Utang Akwa Ibom revealed State Government’s plans for the implementation of Free Interest Loan for Entertainers in the State.

He later added that the free interest loan will be given to entertainments under their umbrella bodies and that an entertainment must be a practitioner of his field of entertainment for him or her to be eligible.



The Special Assistant to the Governor on Talent Development; Emmanuel Owuala also added that as an Actor and Member of ACtor Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Akwa Ibom have recorded massive growth in the Movie Industry. 


He also added that Akwa Ibom Movies now are on Netflix and also have a Youtube Channel where Akwacross Movies are premired every 24 hours.
